I love visiting various garden centers to go plant hunting. It is like a treasure hunt, as I look for something new and irresistible, or some old favorite that I'd like to try again. Each nursery has its own little character and I'll eventually publish a more useful guide on the Garden Rat Blog, but I have to start someplace so here we have a whopping 3 minutes and nineteen seconds on five of my favorite nurseries.

I wanted to try an interview, so my beloved husband consented to let me talk with him about Star Wars Galaxies, a game we have played since it began. He needs to be a little closer to the headset, but I think you can hear his melodious tones. His character is named after DooDah day in the Artemis Fowl books, a series our whole family reads and loves.
I thought I would try doing a few new book highlights each month as a regular DOA feature. Believe it or not, I rehearsed this several times before recording it. Featured titles are: Dead in the Family by Charlaine Harris, The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest by Stieg Larsson, Theodore Boone: Kid Lawyer by John Grisham and the Red Pyramid by Rick Riordan.
No wierdo technical problems this time. I do have some blathering mistakes, and as we go along I'll edit myself and fix bla blah blah errors, but for now you get the unexpurgated version.
This morning I talk a little about how to get into a beta test for an upcoming game. I could have left out the crude stuff, but that wouldn't be me. I have seen these comments a zillion times, and it always strikes me funny how some people choose to give high praise.

Yay me! I successfully recorded and saved in MP3 compatible format a second show! More technical difficulties here at D.O.A. Central, so make sure you turn the sound down a bit at the start. I'm LOUD for once for all of those people who complain I mumble.
Try number 5001 to publish the converted file. Grrr. A miracle might occur shortly, or not.
